Our self-paced online course is designed to empower educators to harness the transformative power of podcasting as a dynamic pedagogical tool as well as give you the building blocks of know-how for starting your own podcast.
What are the ingredients of a great podcast? What does it take to grow the seed of an idea into a podcast? And, how can young people get started making their own podcast? We have offered the following programs (virtually and in-person) to introduce kids in grades 3-8 to the wide world of podcasting and equip them with the tools they need to start growing their own podcasts! These programs were developed by Literary Safari, the award-winning production company behind The Story Seeds Podcast which has created curriculum and playful learning experiences for McGraw Hill Education, Scholastic, Corporation for Public Broadcasting, and UNESCO.

In weekly one-hour sessions, participants will be inspired by peers as they meet young podcasters who share how they have grown the seeds of their curiosities into full-blown shows.
